QL+ Participates in Fire Prevention Open House in McLean, VA

The Quality of Life Plus Program (QL+) participated in the Fire Prevention Open House in McLean, Virginia on October 12, 2009.

In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, the annual open house is both fun and informative. QL+, a public charity headquartered in McLean, was present for the day of education and information on fire prevention. QL+ initiatives serve in tandem with those of the volunteer firefighters nationwide. Citizens of McLean came in large numbers to see the fire apparatus and equipment, play games, and take a tour of the fire station.

QL+ has two principal focuses: identifying the challenges of those wounded in public service, and working with teams of university students and faculty to solve these challenges as part of their educational curriculum. QL+ funds the mechanism that creates innovative quality of life solutions for our nation’s injured heroes.
